Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about MowBro robotic mowers.

Setup & Installation

How hard is it to set up a MowBro?

Not hard at all! Most customers complete setup in 45-60 minutes. You'll lay out the boundary wire, place the charging dock, and connect the app. No special tools or skills required. If you can follow simple instructions, you can set up a MowBro.

Do I need to hire someone to install it?

Nope. MowBro is designed for self-installation. Everything you need is in the box. Our setup guide walks you through every step. And if you get stuck, our support team is here to help.

What's included in the box?

Every MowBro includes: the mower, charging dock, power adapter, boundary wire (150m), wire pegs (200 pcs), spare blades, quick-start guide, and full user manual. Everything for a complete installation.

Can the boundary wire be buried?

Yes, but it's not required. Most customers peg the wire to the surface. Within a few weeks, grass grows over it and it becomes invisible. You can bury it later if you prefer—about 1-2 cm deep.

Product & Features

How long does the battery last?

Battery runtime varies by model: MowBro Lite (70 min), Standard (90 min), Pro (145 min), Max (200 min). When the battery gets low, MowBro automatically returns to the dock to recharge.

Does MowBro work in the rain?

Yes, MowBro is weather-resistant and can handle wet conditions. However, it has a rain sensor that pauses mowing during heavy rain (wet grass clumps can affect cut quality). It resumes automatically when conditions improve.

How quiet is it?

Very quiet! MowBro operates at about 58dB—roughly the volume of a normal conversation. You can run it at night without disturbing neighbours.

Can it handle hills?

Yes, within limits. Each model has a maximum slope rating: Lite (25%), Standard (35%), Pro (45%), Max (70% with AWD). Check your lawn's slope to pick the right model.

How does it avoid obstacles?

MowBro uses bump sensors and, on higher models, ultrasonic sensors to detect obstacles. It gently bumps into objects, then turns and continues. For permanent obstacles like trees, the boundary wire keeps it clear.

What warranty do you offer?

All MowBro mowers come with a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Battery is covered for 1 year. Wear items like blades are not covered.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Contact our support team with your order number and a description of the issue. We'll troubleshoot with you and, if needed, arrange repair or replacement.

Maintenance & Care

How often do I need to replace the blades?

Generally every 1-3 months depending on usage and grass conditions. Spare blades are included with your purchase, and replacement packs are available.

How do I clean my MowBro?

Wipe down with a damp cloth after heavy use. Don't use a pressure washer. The underside can be brushed clean to remove grass buildup. Keep sensors and charging contacts clean.

What do I do in winter?

Store your MowBro indoors during winter. Charge the battery to about 50%, clean the mower, and store in a dry place. Check the battery monthly and top up if needed.

Can I service it myself?

Basic maintenance (blade changes, cleaning) is easy DIY. For internal repairs, contact our support team. Attempting unauthorized repairs may void your warranty.
